Psychology professor at the University of Kentucky, Phil Kraemer, has launched a new course entitled “Ideas Matter,” built around the IdeaFestival. The goal of this semester long course, during which students will attend the IdeaFestival, is to challenge students to think about and understand: (1) what we mean by ‘an idea’, (2) where ideas come from and how they can be recombined and evolve and (3) how ideas can shape and transform the actions of individuals, organizations, businesses and countries.
Students will also consider the dynamics of breakthrough ideas and the concept and psychology of innovation. Contact Phil Kraemer for additional information.
