Ankur Gopal is the CEO of Interapt, an award-winning mobile and wearable technology solutions partner that has been trusted by businesses in mid-America. From startups to Fortune 500 companies, Interapt partners with businesses to teach them how to effectively use mobile applications to complement their overall business strategy. Interapt works with multiple companies, building solutions and products ranging from Google Glass, smartwatches, Augmented Reality, to HIPAA compliant communications.
In 2014, Interapt was selected by Google as one of only 10 global companies for their Glass at Work partner program. This year, Interapt won the 2015 Gartner Cool Vendor Award, an international award designated by research giant Gartner Group.
Gopal was selected by the Kentucky Entrepreneur Hall of Fame as an Emerging Entrepreneur, and was named one of Business First's 40 business leaders under 40. He has also been a speaker at multiple conferences, including Saleforce.com's Dreamforce 2015, the world's largest annual software conference in San Francisco.
Prior to moving to Louisville, Gopal studied Entrepreneurship at The University of Chicago Booth School of Business. He currently serves on the Speed Museum, Ky Center for the Arts, and Junior Achievement boards, and is an active entrepreneur mentor. In his spare time, Ankur is an avid tennis player, enjoys cooking, and performs improv comedy.
