Facilitate an IF University Class
Perhaps the French philosopher who coined the word collective intelligence said it best: "Nobody knows everything but everyone knows something."
IF University is a dynamic platform designed to bring curious minds together so that anybody can learn about something from everyone. All IF University classes are designed to be informal, discussion-centered learning experiences. Topics and ideas for classes/events are imaginative, wide ranging, light or deep, but always fun...with an emphasis on novel connections and combinations between subjects. Course proposals are reviewed and approved for IdeaFestival-level quality. Classes are non-credit, but we credit our facilitators for having interesting ideas, unique knowledge, and the willingness to share them. Each facilitator receives a majority portion of the course proceeds.
You need not be an "expert" in an area to lead a class or facilitate an event (such as a performance, etc.). We are looking for passionate, curious people who are knowledgeable in their respective area, and may have come upon that experience or knowledge in non-traditional or novel ways. Do you have an idea, passion, subject or avocation that you would like to share with others? If so, we at IF University are interested. Facilitators/Event Leaders are responsible for the class/event structure, content and logistics including locating the site.
