New twist on museum experience

Could museums become places for a little bit of personal experimentation, not simply observation?

Being challenged a bit by Ethan Zuckerman's recent post on homophily, I was delighted to see this entry from Nina at Museum 2.0. She describes how museum goers might take an active role - with some built-in safeguards suggested by her - when experiencing uncomfortable or challenging material or situations.

Museum 2.0 is a blog devoted to the ways web philosophies might be applied to museum design. Check it out.
