Io_twinsIn these overexposed images of Io, one of Jupiter's more interesting moons, the plumes from the Tvashtarvolcano can clearly be seen spewing material an estimated 290 miles high. The image was snapped by New Horizons, which is on its way to a 2015 rendezvous with Pluto.
