"Bramble" sciences

Johnnie Moore links to a study of organizational identity from the perspective of  knowing and narrative - certainly two of my favorite subjects. The authors of Bramble Bushes in a Thicket, Cynthia Kurtz and Dave Snowden, "share a common objective to apply the power of narrative and its humanising impact to a complex world."

More on the publication can be found at Cognitive Edge, a consultancy that seeks "to apply insight from the sciences and the humanities to organisations."

I've noticed "science and humanities" phrase by another blog recently, AlphaPsy, which seeks to integrate naturalism - in the form of cognitive psychology - with the humanities.

Thanks for the link to Bramble Bushes in a Thicket, Johnnie.
