QuickMuse: poetry unwound

What thoughts go into poetry?

Wired this month links to QuickMuse, an experiment that puts virtuoso writers on the clock and reveals something in the process about the creative mind. It gives the reader the chance to rewind the creative act. Check out Jonathan Galassi's challenge and then click the play back link to watch the poem unfold.

For its ability to rewind creativity QuickMuse reminded me of SwarmSketch, which says it "sketches the collective conscious."

Compare the two creative outcomes. They are aesthetically quite different.

QuickMuse also links to a London Times blurb.
