Slow knowing and time hacks

Steve Rubel says he's taking a "think week," comparing it modestly to Bill Gates' time spent pondering the future. He also nominates two technologies as time hacks.

Mindjet's MindManager software maps thought relationships. For someone like me who (too) often free associates, it could be useful as an organizing method in the office. I'll check it out.

As for printing pages of material to read and mark up pool side, sometimes slow knowing really is the only way to go.
