Medici thinking

Steve Hardy at Creative Generalist points out that Frans Johansson, author of The Medici Effect, has begun blogging again. In the brief while that I've been blogging about ideas, the notion that good ideas are the product of interaction between people and between disciplines is about as close to a truism as one is likely to find.

This point was also made in a brief intellectual history of our ideas of creativity that I read last fall - "
Who Designed Brunelleschi's Dome?" - linked from Innovation Insider. At only 31 pages, the paper is well worth the time to read.
