The music and color of syntax

Via Virginia Postrel, a link to Artful Sentences: Syntax as Style. The book by Virginia Tufte curates a collection of syntactic techniques, like asyndeton and parallelism, that which work to achieve feeling and to structure ideas on paper. I'd call it first person information design. It's much more effective design than, for example, this Gettysburg Cemetery Dedication.
