Video: Daniel Tammet finds a book with his name on it

For those of you who were there, Daniel's talk about his experiences growing up with autism, about the beauty he finds in numbers and about his synesthesia - "Wednesday's are always blue, as you should know" - was one of the highlights of IdeaFestival 2010. Speaking in a soft tone throughout his presentation, he took festival goers captive with a very personal and surprisingly relatable story of self discovery.

Daniel's insight into "number" and "language sense" has also attracted the attention of scientists for what it says about how the human mind works, and about the creative potential in us all.

In this brief video from Louisville filmmaker, Keith Robbins, Daniel recounts his search of a local library for a book with his name on it so that he might find out how his life might turn out.
