The war on Sameness

Providing a list of extinctions of languages, food kinds and various flora and fauna, a coalition of social and physical scientists are thinking about how to combat the spread of a debilitating sameness by focusing on the links between language, culture and the natural world, according to the 2008 SEED piece, In Defense of Difference.

This "monochromatic, monocultural, homogeneous" tide might not only be ethically undesirable, but if language, culture are biology are mutually dependent, dangerous as well.
