Exporting EVE

Here's an interesting angle on massively multiplayer online role playing games. There has been of course quite bit of work on the economics of these games - Edward Castronova take a bow - but pointing out that there is an unofficial but functioning exchange between its in-game currency and the nation's real-world currency, Jamais Cascio - linking to this post - suggests that the Icelandic-owned company EVE Online is an awfully valuable export for a country in severe economic distress.
